Arizona students pack thousands of meals for children in need
Feb 23, 2026
PHOENIX (AZFamily) — With Thanksgiving approaching, it’s important to teach children about gratitude and service to others. That’s what some Valley kids are learning about by packing meal boxes for those in need.
Over the past several months, students and families from Arizona Virtual Academy and Insight Academy of Arizona joined forces at a series of volunteer events to support the organization, Feed my Starving Children. Students helped pack nearly 95,000 meals at the organization’s campus!
The packed meals will be sent to children in need in roughly 70 countries, where the meals are truly life-saving. Thanks to the students efforts, over 250 children will have daily meals for an entire year.
Thank you to these children for doing Something Good!
