Student Life
Student Life at Insight Academy of Arizona
A school that gets where you’re coming from—and where you want to go. At Insight Academy of Arizona (ISAZ), student life looks different—and that’s the point. We serve students in grades 7–12 who may not have found the right fit in other school settings.
What is student life like at an online school?
At ISAZ, students thrive in a safe, welcoming online environment with opportunities to connect, learn, and have fun—both virtually and in person.
Whether they’re behind on credits or balancing responsibilities outside of school, ISAZ offers a learning environment designed to support each unique student in our community. Follow the quick links below to:

Support at Every Step
A schedule that fits real life
Your student is juggling more than just school—they may have a job, family responsibilities, or personal challenges. We help students complete their coursework on a schedule that works for them, without sacrificing academic progress.
A judgment-free environment
Many of the challenges students face in brick-and-mortar schools—like bullying, peer pressure, or classroom distractions—are not present in our virtual setting. We offer a schoolwide social emotional learning program and give students the space to focus, feel safe, and rebuild their confidence.
A plan for finishing strong
Whether your child needs to recover credits or just find a better fit, we offer personalized graduation plans that lead to a high school diploma recognized by employers, colleges, and the military. Many students also explore career pathways, prepare for certification exams, and receive guidance on college applications.
A community that cares
Your student won’t fall through the cracks at Insight Academy of Arizona. Every ISAZ student has a dedicated academic coach or counselor who checks in regularly and offers guidance with coursework, organization, and life after graduation. Our certified teachers are truly committed to helping students succeed and are just a message or live session away.

Clubs, Sports & Activities FAQs
Even though ISAZ is an online school, we recognize the importance of offering field trips and other in-person activities. These events support an authentic public school experience that both teaches and socializes students.
In addition, many courses provide opportunities for students to interact with each other through discussion threads and “virtual classrooms” where they collaborate and communicate through two-way voice over IP, instant messaging, and application sharing.
Students have told us that they build great relationships through the community-building opportunities we provide.
Yes. ISAZ holds dances and a graduation ceremony.
