Cedric Corbin | Executive Director
Mr. Cedric Corbin is a first-generation college graduate and former college football player at the University of Central Missouri. He has been blessed to serve in education for 16 years, predominantly in the post-secondary distance education arena. He has experience leading teams in fast-paced environments, from admissions to academic advising. he is a family man and the proud father of 3, two girls and one boy, who consistently keeps him busy when he is not at work! He grew up in the Phoenix area and attended Phoenix College before earning his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and, from there, his master’s degree in Organizational Leadership. His passion is leading and delivering positive results for students and staff alike.
Christine Twidwell M ED. | Principal
Mrs. Twidwell joins ISAZ with over 20 years of teaching, coaching and educational leadership experience that includes 11 years in on-line education with K12. During this time Mrs. Twidwell has held various roles in teaching math, leading math departments, supporting teachers at the school level with data and instruction, and as the assistant principal for ISAZ. Mrs. Twidwell received her bachelor’s degree in high school math education and her master’s degree in educational leadership at Northern Arizona University. She enjoys spending her free time traveling and being outdoors with her family. Mrs. Twidwell looks forward to working closely with the ISAZ staff and families to provide a positive learning environment for all students.
Ms. Mary Christner | Dean of Students
Ms. Mary Christner earned her bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis in Biology from Arizona State University. Ms. Christner taught various subjects before coming to Insight Academy of Arizona, including biology, integrated science, and the AVID Elective course. Ms. Christner joined Insight Academy of Arizona in 2019 as a science teacher and then became the school’s lead master teacher after earning her master’s degree in Online Instruction from Southern New Hampshire University. As lead master teacher, Ms. Christner trained new teachers, supported all ISAZ teachers in instruction, course setup, and management, and helped oversee the student success intervention program. Ms. Christner’s passion is seeing all students succeed without exception. Ms. Christner was born and raised in Arizona and loves living in the Valley of the Sun. In Ms. Christner’s spare time, she loves spending time with her daughter.
