Christine Twidwell M ED. | Principal – Insight Academy of Arizona
Mrs. Twidwell joins ISAZ with over 20 years of teaching, coaching and educational leadership experience that includes 11 years in on-line education with K12. During this time Mrs. Twidwell has held various roles in teaching math, leading math departments, supporting teachers at the school level with data and instruction, and as the assistant principal for ISAZ. Mrs. Twidwell received her bachelor’s degree in high school math education and her master’s degree in educational leadership at Northern Arizona University. She enjoys spending her free time traveling and being outdoors with her family. Mrs. Twidwell looks forward to working closely with the ISAZ staff and families to provide a positive learning environment for all students.
Anthony Jackson | Dean of Students
Mr. Jackson holds a B.S. in Business Administration and is transitioning from Career and Technical Education teacher specializing in Law Enforcement and Public Safety. He is currently enrolled and pursuing his educational leadership degree to further his educational prowess. For the 2022-2023 school year, Mr. Jackson was recognized as CTE New Teacher of the Year. In his spare time, he serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Mickey Melba Autoimmune Research Foundation (MMARF) foundation. Mr. Jackson enjoys mentoring youth, traveling, serving the community, and spending quality time with family. He aims to create academically engaging learning experiences through an environment that fosters creativity, curiosity, and kindness for all stakeholders. He is committed to collaborating with staff, parents, and the community to provide every child with the best possible educational experience.
Dr. Erica Young-Jackson | Career Readiness Education Administrator
Dr. Young-Jackson joined ISAZ in 2018 as a business career readiness teacher after working in various roles in K through 12 education. After being a part of the Stride Career Prep program for three years, she became the career readiness education administrator at ISAZ in 2021 while obtaining her doctorate from Northcentral University in educational leadership.
Dr. Young-Jackson has cultivated educational partnerships for our students with Grand Canyon University, Rio Salado Community College, Pima Community College, and several industry partnerships. Her educational experiences have allowed her to collaborate with a diverse group of educators to meet the common goal of increasing student achievement and providing an environment where students will benefit from quality instruction, hands-on training, industry certifications, and college credit.
Fun Fact: Dr. Young-Jackson and her family own several businesses, which support her passion for every student to explore the possibility of entrepreneurship.
